Cape Cod Chat House will hold an opening reception of the exhibit To See or Not To See featuring work by Dick McGarr, James Wolf, Mellissa Morris, Suzanne Packer, Richard Neal, and Bonnie Brewer.

By definition, abstract art involves some departure from reality, in that it doesn't seek to reproduce its subjects in an immediately recognizable way. Abstract art invites participation by the viewer. Or at the very least, abstract art invites you to see in a different way.
