Father's Day Barbecue & Brunch @ Coonamessett Farm

On Father's Day, Sunday, June 17, from 11 AM until 3 PM, the Farm will serve a Father's Day Barbecue and Brunch featuring smoked chicken with honey chipotle barbecue sauce, hamburgers and hot dogs, cheese pizza with farm herbs, broccoli cheddar quiche, vegetarian chili, New England clam chowder, rosemary roasted potatoes, baked beans, field salad with cranberry-herb vinaigrette, picnic potato salad, carrot raisin salad, pesto pasta salad, minted melon salad, apple crisp, lemonade and iced tea. Barbecue Brunch tickets entitle holders to enter the farm to pick vegetables and visit the animals. Normally only day pass ($8) holders and members may enter the farm. Brunch prices are $15.95 for individuals 10 years and older; $8.95 for children aged 4 to 9; and free of charge for children 3 and under. Dad's who get brunch will also get a pot of plants their children may decorate at the farm.
