A Tribute to Dave McKenna

August 20. 8pm. $18, $15 for members. Jazz like you dream about! This concert promises to be a fantastic performance in honor of the legendary jazz musician Dave McKenna. Featuring Dave’s sister, esteemed vocalist Jean McKenna O'Donnell, and renowned pianist Suzanne Davis, who appeared every weekend with her jazz trio at the Four Seasons Hotel in Boston from 1985 to 2004. She now performs frequently in Boston, Cape Cod, New York City, and Paris, France.  She has performed with Phil Grenadier, Herb Pomeroy, and Grover Washington Jr., to name a few. An alumna of Wellesley College, she is Associate Professor of Piano at Berklee College of Music and has been called "an outstanding talent" by the Boston Globe. Suzanne has composed music for several films and is the author of Jazz Piano Comping, published by Berklee Press. She will be accompanied by Laird Boles on bass and Bart Weisman on drums.
