Who says winter has to be dull and depressing?

As locals know, wintertime is our time to party. So what if it’s 30 degrees outside? The streets are empty, you have your pick of good spots on the beach, and… and…

For the past 26 years, the good folks at WMVY have made the end of January the most anticipated time of the season, heating up the Vineyard with the hottest chili fest around! Pros and amateurs compete for the chance at boasting rights to the “best chili” all year, based on taste-tester’s/drunken reveler’s (slightly impaired) judgment. The margaritas and beer flow freely as people wearing sombrero hats and chili beads dance the afternoon away to the sound of the Mexico Lindo Mariachi Band.

This year, InsideOUT is entering the fray with a beer-infused chili straight outta Esta’s Kitchen. Just so we don’t get lonely, we want to make sure we’ve got some friends in the crowd (ok, ok, we really wanna win, and we’re hoping you’ll help us!)

So, we’re giving away a pair of tickets to some lucky, loyal iO fans. You know how hard these are to come by, right?

All you have to do is click around the site to find the answers to three easy questions in our scavenger hunt. Once you’ve registered** send your answers to elise@iocapecod.com by noon on Friday, January 27.

All eligible entries will be entered into a pool and one lucky winner will be randomly selected. Winner will be notified by email by 1 PM on Friday, January 27.
