Third wave ska rockers Bim Skala Bim came to the forefront of the Boston ska scene in 1983 and remained active until 2002. Influenced by England's 2 Tone movement, as well as bands such as The Clash, UB40 and Bob Marley, they released several albums and started their own record label, BiB Records, to release their own music and that of other ska bands.

Founded by vocalist Dan Vitale and bassist Mark Ferranti, Bim Skala Bim reunited to open for the Mighty Mighty Bosstones at Boston's twelfth annual "Hometown Throwdown" on December 28, 2009. Longtime veterans of the Beachcomber, they return to the Wellfleet stage this Saturday, July 21.

Upper Cape fans can join the ska nostalgia moshpit at a special show at The Beach House in North Falmouth on Sunday, July 22. Tickets are $12 and are available at the bar or at the door on the night of the show.
