- Matt and John Beninghof want to take you for a ride with the Old Silver Band.
Do something for the little ones this weekend while enjoying great local music!
On Sunday, April 22, the Woods Hole Day Care Cooperative will hold a fundraiser at Liam Maguire’s Irish Pub on Main Street, Falmouth.
The free event will run from noon to 6 PM with performances by a host of local musicians, including Liam Maguire, John Beninghof and Jim Lavin, John McNamara and a special reunion of the Old Silver Band.
Enter to win signed sports memorabilia, a private fishing charter, golf lessons, horseback riding lessons, a beauty and wellness package, as well as a multitude of prizes and gifts from local businesses and artists in a raffle and silent auction.
All proceeds from this family-friendly event will benefit the Woods Hole Day Care Cooperative’s goal of purchasing new outdoor playground equipment, a large outdoor climbing structure, new Science and Technology tools, as well as funding for annual field trips and extra-curricular activities.
All newly purchased playground equipment will be located on the Woods Hole School playground, which is open to the public on weekends and after-school hours. In this way, the funds from this event will benefit not only the families served by the Cooperative, but also the community at large.
The Woods Hole Day Care Cooperative is a non-profit, full-time preschool and daycare that has been providing the community with affordable, quality childcare for more than thirty years.
