Po Boyz Kick Off Mardi Gras Bash

The Beach House in North Falmouth will host a Mardi Gras bash on Friday, February 15, with live music from the Po Boyz, a New Orleans style funk band, starting at 9 PM. The bash will also include hurricane drinks, special New Orleans-style menu items and free beads. There is no cover charge.

Po Boyz describe themselves as a “soulful gumbo full of sounds, fearless souls and spirits.” Original music is a combination of bayou funk/rock, with some gospel, country and Latin influence mixed in. Po Boyz newest release “Country Funk,” released by Positive Records in 2010, hit number 4 on jambands.com radio charts in early 2011 earning praise from critics and buzz among the jam and funk community. The band’s songs assert themselves with high energy and positive feeling that has become their signature vibe and sound.
